"Had an epiphany..."

Okay, so as I was riding in the freight elevator at work this morning a thought hit me. And I thought, 'Gee, that is kind of weird. I wonder what other people would think.' Basically it's this: On the subject of abortion you have two camps, those for it and those against. Now those against say that life begins at conception and all that while those for it say that women have the right to do what they want with their bodies. They have the right to do what they want with their bodies. Read that last sentence one more time before you continue.

Okay, where am I going with this? It seems to be these same groups of people who say a woman has the right to do what she wants with her body are also the same groups of people who are trying to ban junk food. Seriously. Bleeding-heart do-gooders. These same people who will allow a woman to have a child ripped limb from limb out of her body won't allow me to eat a decent Oreo cookie because it contains trans fat. And too much trans fat is bad for you. Yeah, if you eat a whole package of cookies every single day (which I don't). But then again, what business is it of theirs? Isn't it my body? Don't I have the right to eat what I want to eat? Afterall, it's not like I have the Nabisco Nazi shoving that crap down my throat saying if I don't eat all those Oreos they will beat my family with warm squash. I choose to eat the Oreos. That's my right. What do you think?
