Bored & Evil comic for August 22, 2005

"The Comic"

Today's comic came out a little bit less clear than I had hoped. When I wrote it, it sounded fine but upon closer inspection may have been a bit confusing to some people. Luckily Steve did a good job assembling it, that helped a lot.
So it seems like the summer is fading, which is fine because I love the autumn. I don't mind the rain at all, especially when I am indoors.
So I'm sort of looking forward to seeing The Brothers Grimm. I'm only marginally a fan of Heath Ledger and Matt Damon (MATT DAMON!) but I am a huge fan of Monica Bellucci and especially director Terry Gilliam. You may remember him as the genius behind the animated bits on Monty Python's Flying Circus. He also directed two movies I really like, 12 Monkeys and Time Bandits. And Brazil. That's three movies, but I don't want to backspace. Oddly enough, two of those movies feature Katherine Helmond, who played Angela's slutty mom on Who's The Boss. I wonder if she will be in the Brothers Grimm.
Sort of went stream of consciousness there. Probably because I've been afraid to smile for days now, since Pontus and Christian of Little Gamers wrote in my book at Otakon to 'Smile If You're Gay'. I don't know how they knew that Richard would be borrowing my book, but they knew. They're smart there in Finland... or Sweden... or the Netherlands... or whatever the hell tiny frozen European country they are from.
